Okay, so Loki still has a lot of feelings for Thor, despite whatever he might say. I think it's because Thor was really the only person who considered him and gave thought to Loki when Loki needed him to. But then Thor had a change of heart and started considering everyone else. Which drove Loki a little bonkers because he has always stood by Thor's side, no matter what Thor has done and he expected Thor to do the same for him. But Thor chose Earth! Humans! Mortals! Loki could not deal with that, not when he was making terrible decisions of his own and needed Thor to stand by him.
Seeing Thor again, even now, makes Loki feel terrible. Here's an immortal who changed, who got better, and somehow he's still better than Loki. No matter what Loki did or tried to do, Thor always came out on top. Loki can't even begin to do anything that Thor is capable of. He feels shunned just by looking at Thor because Thor brings back every single thing Loki's hated about himself. Thor is the favoured son. Loki is not.
Thor being comatose was not in the plans though, and Loki is a wreck. He doesn't know what to do, he doesn't know the first thing about mortal bodies, he's driving himself up the wall, trying to decide if Thor is doing it on purpose and freaking out that Thor might actually be dead.
