[OOC] Neutral-Significant: "Father is dead" / Lying to Thor

What this is:
[ Loki appears in a white room ]
Thor: Loki. What are you doing here?
Loki: I've come to see you.
Thor: [ pause, unsure ] What's happened? Tell me. Is it Jotunheim? Let me explain to Father.
Loki: Father's dead.
Thor: [ hurt ] W... What?
Loki: . . . Your banishment. The threat of a new war. It was too much for him to bear. You mustn't blame yourself. I know that you loved him. I tried to tell him so but he wouldn't listen.
[ A tear drops from Thor's eyes and he hangs his head low ]
Loki: It was so cruel with the Hammer, knowing you could never lift it. The burden of the throne has fallen to me now.
[ Thor lifts his head ]
Thor: Can I come home?
Loki: The truce with Jotunheim is conditional upon your exile.
Thor: But. . . couldn't we find a way?
Loki: Mother . . . has forbidden your return. This is good-bye, brother. I'm so sorry.
Thor: . . . No. I am sorry. Thank you for coming here.
Loki: . . . Farewell.
Thor: Goodbye.

What this means:
- Loki is clearly bullshitting and this time he knows it. Mother hadn't said any such thing about forbidding Thor home and now he doubts if Father was in any danger of dying at all.
- THORRRRR :(
- For the first time, Loki feels he was being cruel and he doesn't like it. He doesn't like his reasoning and he doesn't like the idea of lying.
- Jotunheim + Frost Giants + War = GDIT THOR WHAT DID YOU DO
- What the fuck does a Hammer have to do with everything WHY DOESN'T MY MEMORIES MAKE SENSE?
